My haircare routine

Hello everyone!! I figured today that I've never done a post about hair or haircare, so today is the day that I will. I'm just going to tell you what products I have been using recently and what I do with them. Firstly, here is the products I use.

So basically, I wash my every other night most of the time, that's if i have the time to do it that often, but it's usually what I aim to do. I've been loving the James Brown Rich Moisture collection at the moment, so I use his shampoo and conditioner every time I wash my hair, and use the James Brown Intensive Moisture Mask once a week, or whenever my hair really needs a bit of rescuing. So once I'm out of the shower, I'll absolutely smother my hair with the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Defence spray, which smells soooo lovely. I'll then do the same with the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Thickening Blow Dry Lotion (that's a mouthful,) I don't put quite as much of this on my hair as the heat defence spray, because its quite thick and you only need a few sprays at the most, I also tend to mostly spray it on my roots and not too much on the ends. Then I go ahead and blow dry my hair, I do this upside down to create maximum volume because I naturally have really flat, straight hair which I hate! Once my hair is dry I'll then just run some of the Avon Advance Techniques Serum through the ends of my hair with my fingers. And thats allll I do, so not too complicated, and all the products I use are from the high street and aren't at all expensive.

Hope you enjoyed my first ever hair post! See you soon.

London tourists for the day

Hi everyone! I've been so rubbish with posting anything lately, and I've barely even had a chance to look on here at all because I've been soooo busy! But finally, at nearly midnight, I have a chance to sit down and write a post. Yesterday I spent the day with my boyfriend and his family in London being tourists, (my favourite thing to do,) but with it being the school half term it was absolutely heaving with people everywhere.

First we headed to the Natural History museum, which we only stayed in for about 45 minutes because we could barely move, and having one buggy and 2 toddlers to drag through the crowds isn't the most fun thing! But anyway, we ended up at South Bank watching the people do their acts for everyone, we went for lunch at the Pizza Hut on the Strand and soon after headed home. All in all it was a lovely day in London. Here are some more photos from the day.

Me and my Boyfriend Justin are going back on the 11th March for a couple of nights, what do you think we should do while we're there?

Everyday Make Up Routine

Hello everybody! This is my routine of the make up I wear on a daily basis when I have work, I mix it up a bit sometimes but this is the general look I usually go for when I have to work :)

Okay, so firstly (after cleansing and moisturizing) I'll start with the Olay 2 in 1 Primer all over my face, Followed by using the Avon Eye Radiance Brightening Wand under my eyes and on my lids. I'll then put my Garnier BB Eye Roll on in Fair under my eyes, followed by putting the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in light on any blemishes and under my eyes.

Using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush I'll then apply my Revlon Colorstay Foundation in shade Buff, once I've applied my foundation (which takes me FOREVER) ill then grab my Revlon Colourstay Concealer in shade 01 Fair and apply under my eyes (again) I always have really bad under eye circles booo. Then I'll apply my loyal Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent all over my face.
At this point I usually apply some Maybelline Baby Lips before carrying on.

Right, after allll that, I then use my Real Techniques Contouring Brush and contour my face using the Bourjois Delice De Poudre (choccy bronzer.) Then I use my new Revlon Bronze Glow Palette on the lower part of cheek bones.
Finally I use the Bourjois Blush  (not sure which colour) on the apples of my cheeks.

Right, onto the eyes! First thing I do is my brows, I use the Gosh Brow Palette and mix the lightest shade with the medium shade, followed by the serum which also comes in the palette. I'll then apply my Gosh Growth Serum as close to the lash line as possible, followed by the Avon Eye Radiance Brightening Wand again, this time only to my lids. Followed by my Rimmel Eye Liner Pencil, I just kind of draw a line as close to the lash line as possible and then blend it and soften it using my Real Techniques Detailer Brush. Then I use my Gosh Growth Mascara which has the perfect applicator for seperating your lashes, then over the top of that I use the Maxfactor Excess Volume Mascara (both ends of it.)

Last but certainly my favourite part, is lippy! I always kind of change what lip product I use but for the past week I've been using Gosh Velvet Touch Lipstick in 055 Innocent.

That post ended up being a lot longer and wordy than I expected it to be, hope it didn't bore you too much!
Seee you soon xxx

New drugstore beauty buys (oops)

Hello everyone! Ok, so I've been a little bad this week and bought a few new things to add to my ever growing collection of beauty products, but a girl can never have too much right?! Right, I'll start by telling you all exactly what it is that I've bought:

-Olay Anti-Wrinkle Primer 2in1
-Revlon Colorstay combination/oily skin in shade 150 Buff
-Revlon Highlighting Palette in shade 030 Bronze Glow
-Maxfactor Excess Volume Mascara
-Gosh Growth Mascara
-Gosh Growth Serum
-Gosh Velvet Touch Lipstick in shade 155 Innocent
-Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in shade 105 Demure Reservee
-Barry M Silk Polishes in shade Pearl and Meadow

Firstly, my absolute favourite items from this shop were the Revlon Highlighting Palette and the Gosh Growth Mascara. The Highlighting Palette is AMAZING, seriously, it comes out really dark so only a little goes a really long way, its such a lovely colour on the skin aswel.  The Gosh Mascara has such a lovely brush, i'ts got nice, thin bristles so it seperates lashes really well, I've only had it a few days so I can't review on the 'growth' part of it yet.

Both of my new lip products I bought are so so nice, with the Gosh lippy just coming out on top a tiny bit, its such a gorgeous baby pink shade, usually a shade I never go for, but its so feminine and its not too Barbie like. The Revlon Lacquer is really good too, its got such a pretty shimmer to it, not usually my cup of tea but Revlon have definitely got it right. Whilst we're talking about Revlon i'll just drop in about the Colorstay Foundation, now I've only used it once because I only bought it today, but oh my god the coverage is just unreal, literally makes you look airbrushed, such a must have!!

The Maxfactor Excess Volume is perfect for a night out, it stays on soooo well, doesnt smudge or fade off, the only issue is that its ridiculously hard to scrub off at the end of the night, its so thick and just doesn't want to budge. However, it is definitely a really good mascara and both brushes are perfect.

The 2 worst products have to be the Barry M Silk polishes, they arent very strongly pigmented so you have to apply quite a few coats before reaching the desired colour, and once you've done that they take forever to dry. Mine took a whole hour to dry (well I thought they were dry) and then I had no more time to wait around for them to dry anymore so they ended up getting smudged :( boooo!

I've tried to keep this as short and sweet as possible because I didn't want to bore you to death with my rambling, I hope I've helped some of you out with what products to go buy from the drugstore!

Yummy nutella brownies!

Hi guys! I found this recipe online yesterday and thought i'd give them a go today, and show you. It's literally the easiest, cheapest recipe in the world and basically anyone can do them. Ok, so all you need for this is:
 - 400g jar of Nutella
- 2 eggs
- 60g of self raising flour
Pop all 3 ingredients into a mixing bowl and start whisking away until the mixture looks like this.

So once there's absolutely no lumps in it and its nice and smooth pop it into a greased and lined baking tin, it doesn't matter what size the tin is, but if you want thick brownies then obviously use a small, deep tin like mine.

Then pop them into the oven at 180 degrees for about 20-25 minutes, simple as that. To add extra flavour just put a pinch of salt into the mixture, but I chose not to. These brownies could even be made for a last minute valentines day treat, just cut them into heart shapes, hope you guys liked my nutella brownies post! See you soon, much love.

Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm Review!

Ok so I stumbled across this at work on the weekend, sadly it wasn't allowed to be sold yet, so I had to undergo 3 long days of waiting untill today when they were finally put out on the Revlon make up stand! But then I had to try and decide what to go for, I didn't want to buy more than one because I'd seen previous reviews that weren't too positive about them. Anyway, I decided to go for a Lacquer rather than a Matte balm, purely because I cant wait until spring/summer time and I feel like the Lacquer's have a summer feel about them. So, I chose to buy the shade 105 Demure Reservee, which is a gorgeous nude/peach colour, my favourite colour! It goes on sooo nice, its so silky and not sticky at all, it makes your lips feel so moisturized and soft, BUT, there is a downfall, I dont feel like it lasts very long on the lips, it only lasts a few hours before fading away, but if you dont mind topping up your lip lacquer every now and then, then its perfect!

Here's a photo of the Lacquer on my lips, it's kind of like a 'your lips but better' colour with a peach tint to it, I absolutely love it, mostly because it's exactly the sort of colour I ALWAYS wear. Thank you for reading my first review post, I hope you enjoyed and it, see you soon!

I've been nominated for a Liebster award!!

First of all; thank you sooo much the gorgeous Angeline Lee from letsgetonwiththatbucketlist.blogspot.com

I'd never thought i'd be nominated for a liebster award, especially as I only wrote my first ever post a few days ago and also only just set up my first blog, i'm so thank full! Anyway, lets get on with it!
Here are my questions from Angeline:

1. What's your morning routine?
The first thing I do every morning is to make myself breakfast (usually either a fruit smoothie or some toast) followed my brushing my teeth, having a bath or shower, cleanse my face, moisturize my body and face, then get onto the make up which always takes the most amount of time, then I do my hair, and head out the door.

2. What is your pet peeve?

My pet peeve is a little bit pathetic, but its when people leave the lid off of ANYTHING, especially things like butter or any spreads, it really really makes my skin crawl!

4. Cat or dog?
This is such a difficult one because I have both, I love how cats are so easy to look after and dont need too much attention, but I'm gonna have to say dogs win by teeny weeny fraction.

5. What's your favorite body part?

Probably legs, I always admire womens legs that are really toned and kind of muscley, I just need to get some motivation to make mine like theirs!

6. Cheesiest thing you've said to someone?

Hmmm, this one I have absolutely no idea about, I never really say cheesy stuff because it would make me cringe too much.

7. All time favorite show?

I have a few; That's so raven, Drake and Josh, One born every minute, Don't tell the bride and loadssss more but I can't possibly list them all.

8. Do you believe in superstitions?

Yes, definitely! I constantly get superstitious about everything.

9. What is something you really want to get done on your bucket list?

Well I definitely want to go travelling, especially to loads of countries in Asia like India and Thailand, I also want to travel America and Australia.
10. What is your hobby?

Beauty! (obviously)

11. What would you do with 1 million dollars?

Don't even get me started! Firstly I'd buy an amazing house, an amazing car, go travelling and probably shop with the rest hehehe.

Ok that's enough about me, here are the bloggers that I nominate;
